This website serves as a clearinghouse for information on historic preservation and open data. It originated as a web-based companion to the report Modernizing the National Register of Historic Places: Towards an Open Data Framework, written by the site’s founder and editor during his graduate studies in Historic Preservation at the University of Oregon in Portland.
